History[]
The Empty City[]
- When Lucky is on his own in the wild, outside the outskirts of the city, ready for some proper hunting. He's excited to try hunting gophers, rabbits, and squirrels.
- Later on, when Lucky is teaching the Leashed Dogs to hunt, he instructs Sunshine to stay out of the eye line of the burrows so that the gophers would think they were safe. They sniffed for any prey, including gophers. Lucky realizes that he must give up hope of gophers coming out of their holes, as the land is very empty. The hunt is unsuccessful and they catch no prey.
