Pup (rank)

A Pup is a rank in pack hierarchy. A pup is also known as a type of dog, a very young dog who does not have a proper name yet.

Description

Although pups are typically ranked lower than Omega, they are not really part of the pack hierarchy system like other ranks. Pups cannot challenge other dogs before they are given their adult dog name. They are allowed to eat the portion they are needed to grow, and are given a meal before lower ranks like Patrol Dogs and along the ranks of Hunter or Alpha.

A Hidden Enemy

Fuzz, Nose, and Squirm, Moon's pups, eat after Alpha and Beta while the pack gathers to eat. However, when Lucky frames Mulch, Alpha is furious that he ate before Moon's pups as well as himself.
