In the Novellas Arc
Alpha's Tale
- The night of Pup's Naming, Bold and Fleet talk about the Howl, and Bold says that it is a pity, as the last Howl wasn't perfect when Strident and Daring had gotten their names.
- Later, when Pup runs into Daring, he apologizes. Strident then said that he should be, and snaps that Pup should look where he is going. After that, Beta scolds the young wolves, and orders Strident to help Fleet, who wants a young wolf to take a message.
