The Lake-Dog is a female Spirit-Dog that is said to serve as the ocean.[5] She is siblings to the River-Dog.[6] She is also known as the Endless Lake.[7]

The Endless Lake[]
When the Wild Pack is by the lighthouse, the pack is afraid of the water, which seems to run in circles. Lucky suggest that it might be the Lake-Dog and says why she is acting like this. Later, during the battle, Lucky prays to the Lake-Dog, asking her to keep her packages safe and take a bad dog instead.
Storm of Dogs[]
When Lucky and the Leashed Dogs are warning the longpaws in the town of the Big Growl, they notice that the lake is acting strangely. Water bubbles up out of the street. Lucky sees Martha praying to the Lake-Dog, begging her to hold on to her rage for just a little bit longer.
