A Third Dog is a new rank founded by Lucky on pack hierarchy. It is exclusive to the Wild Pack under Sweet's command as Alpha. It is underneath Alpha and Beta, and the third highest rank there is in the Wild Pack.[1]
Background[]
Third Dog was created to help ease the tension between Twitch's former Pack and the original Wild Pack members. It situated Twitch as Third-In-Command and is used as a strategy to appease the riled former members of his old Pack, who clearly still viewed him as their Alpha, though he was not.
Description[]
Third Dog is equivalent to a leader and is involved in making decisions and orders as a Beta would do under the Alpha.[2] They would eat after Beta and Alpha.
